之後幾張專輯走俗稱"new core"的曲風

1. Thank God It's Friday
縮寫TGI Friday，沒錯，那間星期五餐廳T.G.I. Friday就是從這句話而來
這句話也如同他字面上那樣簡單，就是謝天謝地，終於撐到星期五了
接下來就是週末了，懂得享樂(尤其是假日喜歡出遊)的美國佬很常講這句話。

2. Black Friday黑色星期五
但星期五有更古老的意味，在基督教傳統中13是不吉利的數字
加上星期五是耶穌受難的日子
綜合起來，變成"只要星期五發生在該月十三號，必有凶兆"的說法，所以稱13號星期五為"黑色星期五"

所以Ice Nine Kills不放過這個機會，這首致敬經典恐怖電影「黑色星期五」的歌，歌名就很諷刺的用Thank God It's Friday -- 或許對於傑森而言，星期五真的很棒，因為那是他可以大開殺戒的日子!!
