Breaking Benjamin是我最愛的樂團，相信長期追蹤的人或看到旁邊的文章數量就知道所言不虛。我還記得第一次認識這個樂團，是聽到"Breath"這首歌，一聽就愛上了，後來開始聽他們的每一張專輯，上網查這個樂團的相關資料，找他們的粉專。當時是2014年，最後一個他們的消息是，主唱生病了；主唱跟其他人鬧翻了，樂團解散了。

正當我怨嘆好不容易發現的新島嶼竟然是座死火山，Breaking Benjamin的FB突然更新了，是那個"瘋狂"的班哲明本人po的，他說他重組好樂團了，過了幾天發布了這首歌；2015年6月，第五張創作專輯、樂團重組後第一張專輯Dark Before Dawn正式發行。這就好像在為那座死火山靠近哀悼時，它突然像龜山島一樣噴發，充滿生機。

作為第一首主打，Failure並不是什麼正面的歌曲，就是它字面的意思，失敗。受夠了那些悵然若失的感覺，受夠了總是只能夠放手，感到無限的憤怒卻又無能為力，最終還是得面對自己的失敗。接受失敗，才不會讓靈魂在迷途中流浪。

偷偷告訴大家第四面牆背後的故事，其實這首歌的翻譯擱置了很久，大約擱置了4年吧XD
當初有個宏遠的目標，是想翻譯整個Breaking Benjamin的英文維基，然後分別用幾首歌做分段，結果拖到現在我也承認我fail了
