Casbah,又作 Kasbah，直譯「卡斯巴」，由阿拉伯語而來，在北非等地是城堡、堡壘或要塞的意思，所以這首歌故事發生的地點就是在北非的一個要塞小鎮，大家無視酋長"禁歌"命令，隨著搖滾樂狂歡的故事。歌曲寫於80年代，當時伊朗革命，西方國家對於穆斯林文化本就不了解也可能有歧視，加上革命後元首何梅尼的反世俗化政策，又為伊斯蘭世界蓋上神秘的面紗，所以這手象徵人民用音樂反叛的歌就誕生了，形成一種「衝擊」XD

：boogie是一種音樂曲風，流行於70年代末期，又有post-disco, electro-funk等名
不過尬叉對這個樂種並不了解，所以也只能解釋到這裡
boogie-man 則是美國鄉野傳說中的妖怪，長相醜陋且會出現在行為不乖的孩子床邊
在此boogie man應該也有"播放boogie音樂的人"的意思

你們快把那印度音樂放上*
：raga(a上面有一橫但我電腦打不出來), 印度文化的音樂，以特殊的音高和節奏聞名，所以在這裡我直接翻作"印度音樂"

頭目他駕駛著凱迪拉克*
：sheik，又作Sheikh，是阿拉伯世界地位崇高的頭銜，通常是男性繼承父位得來的稱呼。但是不是酋長

The muezzin was a'standing
宣禮員就在*
：Muezzin，直譯"穆安津"，是在宣禮塔(minarets，也稱尖塔，清真寺周圍會立四根柱子報時用)上面報時讓穆斯林可以準時朝拜的人員。

：Shareef (Sharif) 王公、酋長、大公，阿拉伯世界的國王的意思，所以前面唱的The king指的就是Shareef

But the Bedouin they brought out

：地域上我們稱阿拉伯人，貝都因人是指人種，就像北極圈「因紐特人」、紐西蘭「毛利人」一樣。

：諷刺地是，整首歌都運用阿拉伯詞彙的時候，突然冒出一句Kosher，kosher是指猶太教的傳統，或是符合猶太認證的食物的意思，所以對應的阿拉伯文詞彙應是"Halal"
但這似乎不是低級失誤，因為在下一句有機可循：

(他完全無法接受!)
Fundamental也有基本戒律的意思，所以意思上也有"這又不是猶太國度!我完全無法接受"的意味。
