原本我又以為遇到喜歡的團卻沒辦法幫翻譯的時候

又發現他們的一些屌歌竟然沒人翻!!

這首歌是在致敬美國小說

〈Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas〉（中文：恐懼拉斯維加斯、賭城風情畫）

故事內容大概是一名記者和他的律師朋友

要去賭城追求美國夢

小說引述18世紀英國文學家Samuel Johnson語錄:

"He who makes a beast of himself , gets rid of the pain of being a man."

為了尋求「超越人類」的刺激和快感

一路上他們帶了大量的毒品，經歷了無數的混亂

最後發現美國夢的黑暗面

而小說流傳的名言

"Too weird to live , too rare to die ."

其實是作者Hunter S.Tompson對己身的描述

他覺得像他這樣的異類，沒辦法在這個世界上生存

但也因為像他這樣的人實在太過稀有，而不該死。

（不過2005年，67歲的他還是在家飲彈自盡就是了）

看完這個故事我們明白一個道理

沒事不要亂吸毒啊!親人朋友會離你遠去

還會把自己變成一個怪人的!千萬別啊!
