今天又來翻美國FIR了

這首歌有EDM般的開頭，rap般的主歌，搖滾的副歌，diss前團員的歌詞，說實在我被Ronnie說服，FIR的歌比後來ETF好聽，或至少以creativity來說FIR完勝

1.  I've had so many times where I slipped off the beaten path

   我好幾次悄悄地溜入人跡罕至的路途*

beaten path是「人跡罕至的路途」、「不走尋常路」的意思，Ronnie前一句用走在地圖的大街上象徵正常人的路途，下一句說自己好幾次走入了不尋常的路途，象徵自己過往生活的複雜和偏離

2.  Staring at the wall through a crack in the floor and these metal doors that got me trapped

      在地板與這扇困住我的金屬大門縫隙中，我直直瞪著這道牆*

這局值得玩味，尤其"metal"也可以作金屬樂解，metal doors that got me trapped也可以解釋成「那限制住我的金屬樂」，FIR跟傳統的金屬樂有很大的差別，Ronnie一直很想突破，這張專輯很多半饒舌半金屬的成分，在當初就是評價兩極(尤其是Alone那首歌，我記得在YOUTUBE倒讚有個三成左右，以音樂影片來說算很高了)

3.  I wear my heart upon my sleeve so my soul's exposed

    我情感總是表露無遺，所以靈魂暴露於危險中*

這是一句雙關語，片語 "wear heart upon 'one's sleeve"  意思是「真誠待人，把情感表露出來」；字面意思是「把心露出來在袖子外」，所以他後面說「我的靈魂曝光了，暴露在危險中」。這句和上句metal doors我覺得都寫得很精闢，也很能展現Ronnie的個人特質。

最後，

It ain't over 'till it's over, 或是 It ain't over until the fat lady sings, 也是一句俗語，意思是沒到最後關頭，不能確定結局為何。可以用來勉勵人不要太早放棄，如果用灌籃高手的話來講，就是「現在放棄，比賽就結束了！」

副歌大意是跟他的朋友(兄弟啊) 說，你把囂張的話說得太早了，我只想跟你說還沒到最後什麼都很難說，最後會是我贏。 不過Ronnie也想釋出善意，叫他的朋友重返正途。那個朋友到底是誰?  有一說是ETF後來的主唱Craig Mabbitt，但真相為何，恐怕只有Ronnie一個人知道了。 (片尾bgm下)
