翻譯補充  (參考genius網站)

*Justified candy, brandy for the nerves
雖只有短短6個單字，逗號前後有不同意思。
Justified candy的candy一詞，是套用片語be like taking candy from a baby
意指"輕而易舉"，就像從嬰兒手中搶走糖果一樣。
整句話的意思是征服者想要正當化一件事情是很容易的，就像搶嬰兒糖果這麼簡單。
brandy for the nerves是喝下烈酒後身體的反胃，這裡是說征服者強迫他人做事，他人那種提心吊膽和胃在攪動、翻騰的緊張感。

**Eloquence belongs to the conqueror
eloquence是口才，負面的就叫做雄辯。其實「征服的人有口才」是比較符合中文文法的翻法，但我想既然用belong to 這句話的主角就是「雄辯」一詞，這句話背後的意思很簡單：歷史是由贏家撰寫的。(你也可以說，是贏家竄改的)

假使我們沉默，就終將被歷史淹沒；勝者書寫歷史，也將竄改歷史。
